Graduated from Istanbul University of Turkey, Faculty of Political Science, International Relations in 2002. Lived and studied at University of Johannesburg, South Africa on African issues and hold a master in European Politics from Linkoping University, Sweden. Along with the participation in many international conferences as speaker and participant, travelled extensively in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and North/South America.
